  1. We do use our experiences from the past to help us figure out what to do for the upcoming challenges. When I am sewing, I rely on past sewing experiences to help me determine the best way to sew my project. When I cook dinner, I rely on what I learned by cooking other meals to prepare today's meal. The same thing is true in the gospel. The testimony we gain all along the way will help us know what to do when challenges come to us in the future. And that is something we know will happen- there will always be another challenge in the future, hopefully it will wait until after we have figured out what to do about our current challenge!

  2. 1. "The lesson of using the principles & turths of the past to help us face the future."
"We listen to the Spirit for individual guidance & hear the prophet's voice as he declares the will of God to the members of the Church."
    2. "we learn from their desire to help build the kingdom of God."
"ward members become more excited to share their precious knowledge of the gospel of Jesus Christ when they directly experience the sweet blessings of missionary service." They (we) will want to share the gospel more by having these experiences. We can use "Preach my Gospel to study & prepare." This reminds me of the time each of us (Lofti) thought of someone to share the gospel with. We chose one to focus on. (Danielle? The Fosters?) Taylor was sad because we didn't choose the inactive boy in his sunbeam class. He was worried that he didn't come to church.
