  1. "You are never lost when you can see the temple. The temple will provide direction for you and your family in a world filled with chaos. It is an eternal guidepost which will help you from getting lost in the "mist of darkness." It is the house of the Lord. It is a plce where covenants are made and enternal ordinances are performed." Pres. Monson: "Not only can we turn the doors of our homes to the temple, or the ouse of the Lord; we can make our homes a "house of the Lord"". I always have felt that I needed our home to be clean and orderly so the Spirit could reside in our home. I know that our behavior/attitudes toward each other in the home are influenced by the atmosphere of our home. I always feel more peaceful when things are clean and put away. The Lord's house is a house of order- our home should also be a house of order.

  2. "You are never lost when you can see the temple!" (are there pictures of temples and the Savior up to remind us?) "Only the home can compare with the temple in sacredness." Is our home a place where the Spirit dwells? How can we increase the Spirit in our home? President Packer said, "The ultimate purpose of all we teach is to unite parents and children in faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, that they are happy at home, sealed in an eternal marriage, linked to their generations, and assured of exaltation in the presence of our Heavenly Father." For our sealing to be sealed by the Holy Spirit of Promise, we need to be true to our covenants and live righteously. No slacking off:)
